Moyles Court started off very brightly and quickly raced into the lead thanks to some superb solo play from Harrison. Avondale were stunned and quickly conceded another after some excellent interplay between Bobby and Jack. Moyles Court should have added a third and possibly another goal soon after that, but were sloppy in finishing their chances. They were made to pay for their lack of composure in front of goal and gave away a penalty after Alex brought down their attacker as he was through on goal. The penalty was converted and Moyles Court then conceded a second towards the end of the half, bringing the score to 2-2.
Moyles Court again started the next half brightly and scored after the impeccable Harrison tested their keeper from long range. He had hit the bar in the first half after his effort had appeared to be goal-bound, partly thanks to a beautiful save from the opposition keeper. Moyles Court were creating all of the chances and had the majority of the best play, with Avondale looking quick on the counter. Their tactics worked as they scored to bring the match level to 3-3. Moyles Court can count themselves desperately unlucky in what was a pulsating end-to-end and very competitive fixture that should have ended in a victory. The opposition dug in deep and rightfully deserved something from the game. Final score: 3-3.
