Academic Curriculum

The traditional academic curriculum offers a balanced and broad education, providing the essential background for the GCSE and IGCSE level courses studied in later years. We are very proud of our recent GCSE results and our pupils leave us with an excellent blend of academic qualifications, personal experiences and the confidence to succeed in the next stage of their lives. Individual career guidance is provided for all our pupils as we help them prepare for life after Moyles Court.

Teaching in the Senior School is delivered by subject specialists who have high expectations of our pupils and inspire them to learn, question, understand and achieve as they progress through the School. Our pupils are positive in lessons, academically ambitious and work hard to fulfil their potential.

Class sizes are small and the average class size is 15. In the Senior School, Years 7 to 9 students follow a broad and balanced curriculum that provides a strong foundation for GCSE, which is studied in Years 10 to 11.   The small class sizes allow our teachers to provide a high level of individualised care and attention for every child.
