After making the final at their last tournament, Moyles Court arrived at BCS playing with confidence and worked hard to support each other as best they could.
Unfortunately things didn’t go our way on this occasion, and we lost the first game due to a suspicious handball decision, for which the children deserve credit for handling the situation in a sporting and mature manner.
Games 2 and 3 were against excellent opposition, and despite some industrious defending from Rohan and Tommy, Moyles Court weren’t quite able to make a lasting impression on either game, but Evan made several good saves to keep the scores competitive.
In the Quarter Finals Moyles Court scored a superb team goal that involved every player on the pitch and ended with a one-two pass between Jack and Harrison before the ball was rifled into the net. Unfortunately they conceded two late goals from set-pieces and know what areas they can work on before their next match.
