Virtually Spooked at Moyles Court on Halloween!

This innovative event enabled pupils to watch a webcast of the brilliant author Charlie Higson and for them to ask him questions about his craft.

Charlie Higson took them on a spooky journey through the history of horror.  He conveyed his love of Halloween and how he advocates young people dressing up as Vampires or Zombies, transforming the characters he invents into living creatures. He also spoke of the difficulty creating his scary characters due to the technology available to young people.  He knows he has succeeded when he scares his own children!

Pupils at Moyles Court will now go on to utilise his frightening ideas when responding creatively in English and Drama lessons.
