The Junior Girls six-a-side soccer squad have won the Avon Valley League Cup Final and a team of Senior Boys won the Wessex Challenge for Moyles Court. In a well-contested match Moyles Court girls beat Fordingbridge Junior 3 - 0 in the soccer cup final on 19th May. Amber Simpson scored two goals and set up the third for Grace Tyson to put across the line. Team coach, PE teacher Mrs Morrison entered the team in the League at the start of the year and the girls remain unbeaten, showing how the quality in small schools like Moyles Court really shines through.
The same applies for the Senior Boys' win in the Wessex Challenge on 15th June. This regional event - run by the Army at Blandford Camp each year - involves physical, problem solving and team challenges. Moyles Court was by far the smallest school attending (team photo shown). As a result of the win, the school gains the prize of a visit by the army motorcycle display team, The White Helmets.
