"Best ever" attendance: School Hosts Parish Council AGM

Moyles Court School Hosted the Ellingham, Harbridge and Ibsley Parish Council AGM on 25th May. According to Parish Clerk, Georgette Purches, attendance to the meeting was the "best ever". Headmaster Mr Meakin was the guest speaker, presenting a brief history of Moyles Court, detailing residents of the site from the 11th century, right up to the present day.

The Parish Council members include a parent of Moyles Court School and the parish Reverend, Malcolm Richies, is a governor of the school. Mr Meakin comments: " Support of and involvement in the local community is at the heart of our operations and ethos. I was delighted at being asked to host the AGM this year and to be the Council's guest speaker for the event." Pupils of the school acted as guides, serving drinks and nibbles during the evening, living up to the reputation of the school as providing a warm welcome for all visitors.
