Our able linguists from Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 had a celebration day on Friday 15th June. They took part in activities such as cooking ‘Palmiers’, making ‘Mardi Gras’ masks, French songs and a dance.
At the end of lunch break a carnival procession danced through the school to display their masks and choreography for ‘Le Carnaval’. Pupils from St. Catherine’s (the visiting school) said how wonderful Moyles Court was and that they loved the day and Moyles Court pupils said “it was the best day ever”.
Mr Milner-Smith, Headmaster comments: “We hope to make an annual event to congratulate high achievers and those pupils with positive attitudes in languages. Many thanks got to Mrs Pragnell for organising such a fun and enriching day!”
