International Boarding in the UK

Each year we take on a small number of international boarding school pupils who will benefit from international boarding in a UK environment. Numbers are limited to ensure their stay is a truly English-centred one. All nationalities/faiths are welcome. Some children come for one/two terms or just a year to improve their English Language skills. Others stay with us for years. The small classes, attention to detail and family boarding environment provide the ideal conditions for international students to become fluent in English.

The proximity of the coast and historic cities such as Salisbury, Winchester and of course London allow for rich cultural visits and entertaining activities.

International boarding school pupils have the attention of specialist staff for 1-1 or small group English Language instruction if required. The International Primary Curriculum is particularly useful to our Junior boarders, enriching the English National Curriculum. There is also the option of staying with a host family, for just a few weekends or longer periods, to provide a total cultural immersion experience.

Our links with the New Forest Language School means International boarding school children may access expert English Language, Cultural and Outdoor Activity Experiences in the school holidays before and during their time with us, to really get the most out of their stay. These services can be extended to whole families, relocating to the area from overseas.
